When did you begin playing pipes or drums: Age 11

Provide some info about your piping/drumming background, musical influences, and other bands you’ve played with: Started lessons from Pat Case at the end of 6th grade and am happy to play in the same band with him now. Also took lessons from Robbi and Jeff Brewer while playing with Sir James and had tons of fun. Currently taking lessons from Bruce Gandy over Skype.

High point(s) of your band and/or solo career, including awards or trips: Scotland and Worlds in 2006 with SJMPB is defintely the highest point.

Funniest band moment(s): With PMPB: Bruce Riggs’ kilt falling off at the 2009 Shamrock Run (it made getting up early to play in the freezing rain worth it). With SJMPB: HMA and pranks that I wish I played a bigger role in that involved dead seals, axe, and depends.

Misc. facts about you: Wish I could sleep more, one of my favorite activities.
